On this occasion I have created a model of a flute in Tulipier wood tuned in E minor pentatonic scale. It is a very nice wood with black grains and it has a very clean sound.
Tulipier wood, tulip tree or yellow poplar (yellow poplar), is a leafy, light and light-toned wood that is very popular in North America.
This type of wood has certain similarities with that of poplar (light, clear…), and the comparisons are constant. However, tulipier is considered a better quality wood, with a more attractive grain and greater stability.
It is also known by the name of tulipwood, however, this definition can create quite a bit of confusion, since there is another wood with this name that has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Scientific name: Liriodendron tulipifera.
Origin: Eastern United States. You can find some plantations in Europe.
